About SVG Kitchen
Home-style South Indian food in the Tri-Valley
SVG Kitchen is the kitchen of Sri Venkateswara Grocery & Kitchen, a family-owned, 100% vegetarian South Indian restaurant in Hacienda Plaza on Stoneridge Drive in Pleasanton, California. We opened in October 2021. We cook the breakfast tiffins, dosas and thalis we grew up with, fresh every day from 8 AM to 9 PM.
Start the morning with soft idly, crisp medu vada, pongal and Madras filter coffee. Come back for Andhra favorites like pesarattu, gongura dosa, Nellore ghee karam dosa and punugulu, a full South Indian thali, or chaat like pani puri and samosa chaat. We also make millet dosa, millet idly and millet upma, and kid-friendly cheese, chocolate and cone dosas. In the evening, try chaat from 3 PM and Indo-Chinese favorites like gobi manchurian and chilly paneer from 5 PM.
